I have traveled a long road since my days as a single pregnant teen, a road that was not smoothly paved. Through my experiences, I want to instill hope and drive in today’s youth who may not know what path to take. I believe the course of your life should not be determined by the American dream; it should be determined by your dreams.  By educating yourselves, you will be in a better position to transition from where you are to where you would like to be.

Coming from a dysfunctional family as a child, being a teenaged mother at seventeen, loosing my child’s father at the age of twenty-one while pregnant with our second daughter, I was able to achieve my GED, Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Distant Learning.  All, because I did not allow life’s negative experiences stop my determination of making a better life for me and my girls.  I made the decision to - Just Believe and it changed the course of my life!

 Rosalind Scott ~ Program Director possess a college degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice Administration and 30 years’ experience in Business Administration and Management.  She is very active in her community and serves as a volunteer in many community-led events and non-profit organizations.  Prior to joining Just Believe, she has been recognized for developing corporate employee-based volunteer chapters and served as the Communications Officer.  Her motivation is to inspire volunteerism and promote healthy partnerships within the community she serves.  Her favorite quote she emulates is “Love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got, love it with passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it” by Maya Angelo.  Rosalind is a single mom with one beautiful daughter.  She enjoys walking, theatre, live music, dining out, traveling, cultural and sport events.
